notebook screen is too dim
I have an HP pavilion 5350 (notebook)running Windows Me
(Pentium III). the screen brightness after a stand by does not increase .... does not matter whether I press Fn+F2 or Fn+F4 or F3... in short no response. I can barely see the words on the screen. If I connect an external monitor .... no problem everything is bright. Help |

Screen brightness on notebooks tends to be controlled by hardware and has
little or nothing to do with the operating system you are using. I would suggest contacting HP for help with this problem. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP Jeph wrote: I have an HP pavilion 5350 (notebook)running Windows Me (Pentium III). the screen brightness after a stand by does not increase .... does not matter whether I press Fn+F2 or Fn+F4 or F3... in short no response.
