Shell32 file replacement Test results
In OE, click Ctrl-F3, then look at the line "REFERENCES". Compare the length
of that line for this email (240 characters, or 6 deep into the thread) to one of the ones that was "the end of the line", (~1000, or 25 messages deep.) My guess is that 1024 is the max length for that line, either to be parsed by OE or to be stored on the server (my bet being on the latter.) -- Gary S. Clean Boot isn't intended for anything except maintenance and
install/uninstall programs. NOTHING else! Shouldn't even be connected to the internet while a Clean Boot is in place, though with some installs, that's difficult.. -- Gary S. Basic issue is that nothing I do in BIOS to set up the SATA drive, whether
using the JATA or not, seems to please Vista. But now it may be that my Vista disk is at fault (cheap media.) Anyway, I've left off that for a few days. Got lots of other things on my plate.
