Default Spyware Stuff for Millennium

Hi.

I would like to ask for your help in finding a very good anti-spyware
program for Windows Millennium. Which would be the best anti-spyware program
for this OS?

However, please disregard the following:
- Webroot Spy Sweeper (which is made by a bunch of hungry thieves who mock
their clients by not supporting free updates for more than a year or so)
- Ad-aware (just doesn't seem too complete to me, and the name itself
doesn't suggest that it is rock-solid protection)
- Spybot (doesn't integrate perfectly in all OSs and creates errors sometimes)
- Arovax AntiSpyware (crap); Dr. Alex (crap), etc. [you get the idea]
- any anti-virus software that claims it also protects against anti-spyware
(BitDefender, McAfee AntiVirus, Avira AntiVir Personal, etc.), even though it
does it [I am looking for pure anti-spyware/malware/adware]

Thank you very much.

Well, you've just dissed the three program I recommend most and have had the
best luck with, so I don't know that I have any advice for you. Good luck!

When I ran ME I had Ad-aware, Spybot S&D, Spyware Blaster and Spyware Guard.
It was very rare when I found any traces of spyware on my system.

I have to agree with Richard as Ad-aware & Spybot have and still do serve me
well.
