Default Hotmail Log-Out Fail - - Security Issue?

Is there a Security Issue with Hotmail's "New Red Icon" (vs. Green)
indicating that I am NOT actually Logging Out of Hotmail when I Clk the
LogOut button?
The suggested fix for "Can't Log Off" is to Delete the Cookie with my "email
" in Internet Options/General/Settings/View Files, which
of course, I don't see; (Saw / Deleted "Default @ passport.com" but not
email address described)
Ultimate is to Delete all Cookies there which I'm not sure I want to do.
Anyone know if I'm open to back-door visits if I'm Not Logging-Out of
Hotmail?
Is Deleting All Cookies a big Deal to overcome in time? Thanks!
