Default all my files

Okay I dont know what i did..but everything i download ,
no matter what has to be opened by either wordpad or
notepad..ya knwo its the icon with the numbers on it..what
the heck did I do and how do I change it back...????

It can't be "everything". Different file types are set to open with
different programs. What particular file type or extension are you
talking about? (.txt, .doc etc)

I'm afraid that scenario is impossible. Please give us a better description
of the problem including the specific file types you are having problems
with. I also have no idea what icon you are referring to.

Huh?!? Is it just because I'm not a native English speaker or is this
utter nonsense? I can hardly grasp what the real meaning *could* be...

Is it just a very convoluted way to say that her file associations are
all messed up?
