Default Adobe Reader problem

A new problem has cropped up on Internet Explorer. It used to be that
whenever I came to a site that must be read with Adobe or Acrobat Reader
this program would automatically pop up within the IE window. However, since
I upgraded to Adobe Reader 6 I get an error message saying that Reader could
not be found. I then have to start Adobe Reader separately and then go back
to the site.

What has gone wrong? Is there anything I can do to correct this?

Have you perhaps disabled the Acrobat plug-in using say BHODemon? You should
be able to re-enable the plug-in by launching Acrobat, then Edit | Preferences
| Internet and ensure that "Display PDF in Browser" is checked.

Yes, this is checked, but still no action.

Encountered the same problem.
Resolve by removing both the earlier version of the Adobe reader and the
upgrade version and re-install the upgrade version. Hope this help.
