Default Problem with 'unicows.dll' and Adobe Reader

(Also posted in WinMe 'Software'):

I am getting this error message when trying to start the
Adobe Reader 6.0 program;
"Unable to load required component 'unicows.dll' "
I have used the reader before without a prob. so I am at a
loss as to what happened since I last used it.
I upgraded to the Adobe 6.0.2.. version when it (suddenly)
wouldn't open a PDF file, but that didn't help. Have also
uninstalled & re-installed 2X & have not found any
worthwhile help about "unicows.dll" at the Microsoft or
Adobe sites.
I found 3 unicows.dll files on my hard drive and moved the
newest of these files into windows/system, as well.
Any suggestions or fixes would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Ron Smith
