Default How do you "shell" Win 98 directly into an IE session?

We are attempting to set-up about a dozen systems for access strictly to a
company's benefits information. We would like these to go directly into IE
and to the home page for benefits. The user should not be able to open any
other programs, and we'd prefer the system to reboot if IE is exited.

I've seen this done before, but we have not been able to find any
information anywhere on how to do this. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Chris

Yeah...that would fit the bill. I hope this isn't a completely idiotic
question. Any pointers on how to do that would work and be greatly
appreciated.

Actually, I'm probably just have more experience with the KB, g. Doing a
search on "Kiosk Mode" and limiting it to title search for articles applying to
Windows 98, only one article comes up:
Cannot Return to Previous Page in Kiosk Mode
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=201343

That article contains a link to the article I posted, but that's a bit
round-about. On the other hand, if I leave out the Win98 restriction and search
on All Products, the desired article is the first hit. It's always a toss-up
which way to search the KB, since it's easy to overly restrict the parameters,
but it's also easy to get several hundred hits if you don't restrict it enough.

thats probably VERY true Gary...I use the KB ,but i don't think alot of the
new format

I try to help out in a few of these groups , but don't have time to go
digging for things (since i'm actually working : and i haven't completed my
library of instant answers LOL)

I'll stick to short answers g

Thanks guys that is exactly the kind of information I was looking for. I've
searched everywhere for it.

Will probably have a few more questions but it's certainly got us heading in
the right direction now.

Appreciate it!
