reboot freeze after VPN install
I'm trying to install the VPN client on my Win ME laptop. In theory this is
simply a matter of going to the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and clicking on the Windows Setup tab. Then clicking on the Communications component allows me to select the VPN component. After it is installed the instructions say to reboot the PC but my laptop freezes during the boot. So I did a step-by-step reboot and found my laptop freezes after/when it loads msmouse.vxd. So does anybody have any idea what might cause this? If there is no solution to this, does anyone have any suggestion for an alternate VPN client that could be run on Win ME? Denis |
