Hi,
My 'Windows Help' is malfunctioning to the extent that in the troubleshooting section, all the interactive parts do not work - when 'next' is clicked, blank pages appear. I have re-loaded Windows from my installation disc but the problem is persisting. Please help in solving this problem. Thanks. |

Problems with 'Windows Help'
It is caused by a MS Critical Update.
The cure depends on what patch is causing you problems. Try this one first. First, click Start Settings Folder Options View tab, and click to enable "Show All Files" and click OK. Click Start Find File or Folders, and search the C:\ drive for a file named Tshoot.inf...it should be found in the \Windows\Inf folder. Right-click Tshoot.inf and click Install on the menu that appears. Close the Find Files window and try the Troubleshooter again. If still no joy,go to this page to get a download that will get your Tshooters back, but be sure to read the text file that is enclosed. http://mvps.org/PracticallyNerded/SoftFixes.htm The first file on the list. Post back here to let us know how it worked. -- HTH, Curt W98 Support & Discussion: http://dundats.proboards27.com/index.cgi Windows How-tos and and Freewa http://mvps.org/PracticallyNerded/ Windows Help & Discussion: http://forum.aumha.org/ "ESSEMM" wrote in message ...
