Disabling the mouse stuff on a laptop
I have Windows 98 on my laptop. It is too old to put Windows XP on it. I am
not good at typing with a laptop. My wrist keeps unintentionally using the mouse. I bought a wireless mouse but I cannot figure out how to disable the mouse on my laptop. The wireless mouse is working fine but if I cannot disable the mouse pad and buttons on the laptop then the wireless mouse is not serving the purpose for which I bought it. Can anyone help me? -- In His Service, Debra A. Snipes www.In-His-Service.org |

Debra,
Might want to reconsider the method used to display the table of contents on your website. I can't see the last several items in that menu, and I can't scroll down to force it to display, either. -- Gary S. Gary,
A resolution like 1152 x 864 will work on her site except that with my old eyes, I then cannot read anything :-( -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP for W98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo "Gary S. Oh I can see it at 1024x768, but then I'm cut to 256 colors. Makes Desktop
and Toolbar icons look weird. -- Gary S. Terhune MS MVP Shell/User http://grystmill.com/articles/cleanboot.htm http://grystmill.com/articles/security.htm "Ron Badour" wrote in message ... put finger to keyboard and composed: Debra, Might want to reconsider the method used to display the table of contents on your website. I can't see the last several items in that menu, and I can't scroll down to force it to display, either. It renders fine with Opera and Mozilla at a screen resolution of 1024x768. - Franc Zabkar -- Please remove one 'i' from my address when replying by email. |

Renders fine here with IE at those resolutions. But try a lower set to see
the effect I'm referring to. -- Gary S. Someone else made my site and I don't know how to do that. For those who
cannot read it all they have to do is click View, Text Size and then switch to Medium or Higher. -- In His Service, Debra A. Snipes www.In-His-Service.org "Gary S. The only mouse to disable is the one that I bought. The laptop mouse is not
even listed to be able to change. -- In His Service, Debra A. Snipes www.In-His-Service.org "Brian A" wrote: Right click MyComputer on the Desktop. Click Properties Device Manager tab.
