I THOUGHT that looked like foot prints up the back of my head! 'Seconds'
are supposed to be *after* everyone else has 'firsts'. Not 'seconds' after
your first. sigh

Hi Mike :-) :

Jan,

If you delete the folder Content.IE5 it will simply be recreated
the next time the cache is accessed. Just the same as if you
delete its 8 char name sub-folders although in the latter case
the new folders will have different randomized names from those
that went before.

Good. I wanted to be very clear on that. I did remember your
saying once before that it should be recreated if deleted for
whatever reason, but, was not sure if in the mean time it being
missing might cause a problem.

Thank you very much for your help. Ummm...I can taste that
lobster now. :-))

Jan

"k...just for the record here, no I have not deleted mine. This
is a question to satisfy my curious about the need for the
Content IE 5-6 folder in the TIF folder, as to whether or not
if it is removed for whatever reason, would it cause problems
with IE, and if so, what kind?

I thought I remembered at one time someone told me that the
Content folder should not be removed, and the clearing of TIF
files should be done using the Internet Options method. I know
Mow told me to do it that way long ago, which I do, and always
recommend to others. But, now and then I run across someone who
says that there is no need for the folder and it is best to get
rid of it.

Ahmm.....and.....I have a lobster dinner riding on this, too.
