Rage 128 Pro installation problems
-- I am not having any luck getting Win 98 SE to identify this board and assign proper resources etc. In fact, the operating system ignores it and gives me a blue screen of death saying I have to reload the operating system to recover damaged files. This happened twice !! The board is the AVI Rage 128 Pro (this is an AGP board and has 2 slots cut into the edge connector) - I don't know why because it's supposed to be for AGP 4X which doesn't have any keys in the slot. My AGP slot is 4x. P.S. It has been suggested that I download and install the drivers first. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Alan Dyck |
