Default DVD Burner

New NU-Tech dvd burner can't see a blank disc. Its too
early to give up on the burner. Are the some settings
that I need to change? I using a 4-year old Pentium 3
system with Windows 98SE.

a blank disk is just a piece of plastic, It cant be seen by the OS untill it
is written/recorded, In windows98se burning is performed by software programs,
are you using a burner program to try to record the disk? If not there is
usually bundled software.

All versions of windows have no way of interpreting a blank DVD media. 98SE
has no built-in software for what to do with blank CD media. For more info,
try dvdrhelp.com Do some reseach before reaching in your wallet.
