Default cannot access to internet

have a wireless modem (linksys) although I can use wireless connection
with my laptop (Broadcom 802.11g OS:Windows Xp Pro), I cant use with my
desktop. (D-Link G-520 Network adaptor, OS: Windows me)

I installed software and hardware. I could see the connection (nearly
%100) but I can't access to internet, and can't log in to 192.168.1.1
or 192.168.0.1

what will I do?
Thanks for your help.

What is the address of the router? Have you perhaps enabled MAC address
filtering on the router? If so have you added the desktop's MAC address?
Have you enabled either WEP or WAP security on the router? If so have you
configured the desktop similarly? Is the router allocating an IP address
to the desktop? You can check this by using Start | Run and entering
Winipcfg in the box and clicking OK. Select the D-Link G-520 adapter in
the drop down box and then check its IP address.

You need to be able to access the router to get to the internet so if you
can solve that problem then being able to access the internet should
follow shortly.

there is no mac configuration. There is no security (wep or wap).
desktop has an ip address 192.168.1.65

I can ping laptop and dns server also ping 66.94.230.35(yahoo.com) but

Can you access the router with a browser using its IP address, can you
access Yahoo with your browser using its IP address 66.94.230.35?

If yes, try downloading on another machine that can access the net the
file LSPFix.exe from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm and then run this on
your Win Me desktop. Now try accessing the net using a browser. Does
this help?

Please download and run LSPFix, this should hopefully repair winsock and
restore internet access.

How odd, I wonder why LSPFix.exe didn't fix the problem, not that that is
important now, what is important is that you've managed to fix the problem
and that it was a problem with winsock. Well done,

Cheers,
