snipped email
(Posting a complete e-mail address in a form that can be picked up by
spam-robots ain't that smart)

Reinstall your 4-in1 VIA drivers.

In my experience spam bots tend (only) to harvest addresses from message
headers rather than from message bodies.

Rick,

No, not a mistake and you are right to err on the side of caution. I'm sure
there might be some bots out there that scan message bodies however
downloading message bodies requires far more bandwidth than just downloading
headers.

Where you _are_ right to be cautious is because of those viruses that scan
user's Temporary Internet Files (TIF) for potential target e-mail addresses to
which to send their payload. In this case addresses such as mine would be
picked up if a user who had read one of my posts and not subsequently cleared
their TIF was infected with such a viruses. Fortunately few if any get to my
Hotmail Inbox thanks to what appears to be Hotmail's much improved spam
filtering.

Cheers,

Mike
