In many cases write protection on usb pen drives is enabled and disabled via
a small switch on the device rather than from the operating system.

Not really Harry, 7.49 a.m., early as it might be, isn't the night shift

I suspected the involvement of a time-zone shift, just wasn't sure about the
5 hours (it shows 2:49 A.M. on my page).
For me it would be the near end of night shift.
