Default error message "stack overflow"

Running Print Artist by Sierra, the program proceeds
without a hitch and at the very end when you ask for the
printing to begin, an error message pops us which states
" stack overflow" and the printer disregards the print
command, and the whole thing stops there. Using Print
Artist version 3.0 Can someone help me with this
problem ????

Is the printer a HP DL 1000?

Please let us know the complete, exact error message.
