unable tp play normal cd's in drives

when i place a normal audio cd into my drives the media player wont play
them? The error comes up that i am unable to playback in digital mode.Ihave
followed the instructions listed and when i double click as ststed on the
drive in the devices menu it does not open up any settings? How do i resolve
the said problem?

Use the "Devices" tab in Media Player to turn off digital playback for your
CD drive and turn on analog playback.
