Default Home networking to use memory of old PC - HOW?

I have a Windows ME PC which I am replacing with a
Windows XP. I want to clear the hard drive of the ME,
install XP on it (I have a installation disk) and then
link the 2 PCs so as to use the old PC for extra
memory. But I have no idea if this is feasible or what
to do. Anyone with step by step and hardware advice?
Thanks in advance.
