It appears that you have installed a graphics application of some sort that
has damaged some of the necessary registry entries used to produce thumbnails. To fix the thumbnail problem, enter the following from a command prompt such as Start | Run: REGSVR32 THUMBVW.DLL and press enter. This should re-register thumbvw.dll and hopefully add back the necessary missing registry entries. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP hibernius wrote: My thumbnails for jpegs are not displayed when i click to view them. i can open the images but i cannot see htem for thumbnails, others like tiff and bmp are fine! can someone help me sort this out? |

It means that to fix your lack of thumbnails you need to type:
REGSVR32 THUMBVW.DLL at a command prompt such as in the box displayed when you click Start | Run. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP wrote: I'm sorry, I'm not too good with PCs! What does that mean? |
