Default Windows Movie Maker volume control greyed out.

Im trying to record a video using window movie maker but cant record
sound with it. I went to edit to check the volume control but its
greyed out, so im guessing thats why i cant record audio with video.
Does anyone know what the problem is?

Might be sound card driver problems, go into Device Manager, remove it &
reboot, the sound card should then be re-installed.
Regards Mike.
