Removing Bad Drivers
Hi Guys, I made a bit of a pig's bottom of installing some USB drivers for a "mass storage device" and I'm left with a lot of yellow markers and an unrecognised MSD. Unfortunately, when I try and remove said drivers the system freezes/locks up. Any suggestions of how to remove these drivers or could I just leave them? |

Removing Bad Drivers
Have you tried removing them from a boot to safe mode?

Removing Bad Drivers

Removing Bad Drivers
Go to Run on the start menu and type: msconfig. Click OK and on the
resulting screen, click the advanced button. In the resulting screen, mark: Enable startup menu and click OK. Reboot. You should get a start menu that allows you to select safe mode. Once you are done, go back and remove the mark. -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP for W98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo "Steve Wade" wrote in message ...
