This is actually a two-fold problem. First, I can't seem to post a question.
I log-on fine, then I go to "question" and the screen doesn't give me any
place to post a new question. What's the trick? Am I getting curseritis?
The only way I've been able to actually ask a question, is to piggypack onto
someone else's question.

The 2nd problem is the one I really needed answered - so I hope there's
someone out there with some knowledge of this problem. My computer (running
98SE) will only come up in safe mode. I've checked for bad hardware (Control
Panel:System: Device Manager). The only thing that seems to get me back up &
running is to do the following:

Find the IRQ Holder For PCI Steering (under System devices)
If I delete every one of these I find (there are usually 4), then
the computer will let me restart it ok. Everything will be find & dandy
until I have to shut the computer off & then it's back to the
same-ol-same-ol........am I missing something?

Would appreciate any and all insight to this problem ! You guys have been
GREAT in the past - every piece of advice I've gotten from these newsgroups
has been helpful - smart folks!

Thanks again! TerriJo

There are not many regulars that use that quirky web interface, so you
may not get an answer to this part.

I suggest you stop using the web interface and use a proper newsreader
to read newsgroups.
