Default Canon BJC-620 and windows 98 startup

Hello. When i've turned on my printer and i start windows 98 i've a
harware detection message. How might i prevent it happens? Thank you.

My usual procedure is to:
1. Turn off printer.
2. Remove all copies of the printer in the Printers folder.
3. Go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall any support software for the
printer.
4. Restart and go into Safe Mode. Look in Device Manager for any copy of the
printer. Remove any you find.
5. Restart and install software.
