Hiding application icons from the desktop
I do want to hide application icons(not shortcut icons)
from the desktop. These application icons were automatically gengerated by the application software during installation. I want to launch the application program directly, not from the icon on desktop. |

Hiding application icons from the desktop
Right-click the icon and choose Delete.
If by 'Application icon" you mean that the icon is appearing on the desktop because that's where the application file (the EXE file) has been placed. then uninstall the application and re-install it to a different location (such as a folder within the Program Files folder). -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (DTS) "M.Hahn" wrote in message ...
