Windows 98 diskettes
I have a laptop with no cd-player or external one can be attached, but
still want to have all win98 on diskettes. How do I do to create such from a CD? (I know it takes 30 diskettes). |

It's actually 38 floppies.
A better solution is to connect the machine to something that has a CD drive and transfer the installation CD to a folder on the laptop. You can make the connection with a serial or parallel cable and use InterLnk and InterSvr to do the transfer. http://www.ncf.ca/ip/sigs/computer/p...info/interlink -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "wibra" wrote in message ...
