Default audio files in windows media player

when i try to play any audio file in windows media player, it tells me that i
need to run FMV.exe in order to open it, FMV is a video editing program that
I recently uninstalled because of this problem

You need to change file associations and or do some registry
tweaking.

The easy way to fix this is to hold down the Shift key on your keyboard,
then right-click a media file and use "Open With ..." on the pop-up menu to
re-set the file to be opened in Media Player.
