Windows 98SE "sleep" key
My 2-yr-old grandson is just learning to use the computer
and he pushed the "sleep" key on his Mom's Windows 98SE computer keyboard. Now the monitor is black, the green light is blinking, and the computer will NOT wake up. We have tried re-starting the system, but no luck. What can be done? Thanx! Meri |

Windows 98SE "sleep" key
I would figure the keyboard is an Internet keyboard and
not a Standard. If so the proper drivers are not loaded for it and is running off the standard 101 drivers. It should reawake if you push the sleep key again or enter key. If not and it is locked up? Unplug the machine. Push and hold in the power-on button for 30 seconds. Release the power button and plug machine back in and try normal boot up. -----Original Message----- My 2-yr-old grandson is just learning to use the computer and he pushed the "sleep" key on his Mom's Windows 98SE computer keyboard.
