Default Unable to register my windows 98

Hi,

How do I register my Windows 98 if I have no Internet connection?

I did not recieve a postal registration form when I purchased it.

I tried using a computer at a net cafe (right now) but ended up registering
it instead in my name (and besides, I believe the software on this computer
is pirated.)

Anyway, so how do I register my Win 98 SE?

Thanks.

Please do not post the same message to numerous newsgroups as this just
causes us more work.

And what if I am not sure what category my question falls into? Setup?
Internet? General?

Because that's exactly the case. I wanted it to be in the most relevant
group and I wasn't sure which one.

In that case, you choose a *few* likely categories, and then "cross-post"
it--in the same message, add all of the groups you want to cross-post to.
This method allows proper newsreaders to treat the message as one,
regardless of how many groups it appears in. Once we've read it in one
group, it shows as already read in the other groups where it's posted. All
replies appear in all groups where it's posted, too, unless the replying
party changes it. In short, the same conversation appears in all groups
where it's cross-posted to.

But, you're using the web interface to access these groups instead of a real
newsreader. I'm not even sure proper cross-posting is possible using the web
interface. If you really can't decide on a single appropriate group to post
in, post in Win98.Gen_Discussion. We handle them all in that group.

Considering what a pretty boy Like was, and the strange beings he wandered
amongst, I suppose Penguin Skywalker is probably one of his offspring. Ya
think? Wonder what gender...
