boot error
Upon Bootup of my windows 98 machine I get the following error which causes
the machine to freeze and not boot any further: Checking memory for viruses ... OK 128 unknown error code 5

OK 128 unknown error code 5 We had the same problem today with W98 pcs Solution : go to the site https://knowledgemap.nai.com/phpclient/homepage.aspx then type "128 unknown error code 5" in the "Enter Keyword(s) or Solution ID" textbox and you will see that the problem has to do with the scan engine of the Macaffee AV.
