Hi - I have an ACOM Data external HD connected through a USB 2.0 hub -
the drive shows up in the Windows status bar but doesn't appear in Windows Explorer. I am using Win 98 2nd edition. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance, El Squid |

Has the drive been partitioned with a partition type that Windows
understands (such as FAT32)? What is showing in the status bar is the device utility. That might be how you get access to the partitioning function. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (DTS) "Slavko Vorkapitch" wrote in message om... Yes - the drive is partitioned. As a matter of fact it is a carryover
from my Windows XP install, so it should be plug and play compatible right ??? "Jeff Richards" wrote in message ... Is it partitioned in a way that Windows 98 can understand, such as FAT32?
