color resolution problem

Default color resolution problem

I had Windows XP and it crashed so I installed ME, everything is fine except
I can not change my color resolution it only shows 16 bit can I fix it, and I
do not have sound. Please Help!

Have you installed your video and sound card drivers?

No. It would be on the software that came with your video and audio
cards or, if they are on the motherboard, the motherboard CD. If you
have none of these, go to the web sites of the cards' manufacturers and
download the drivers from there. Do not get them from Windows Update.
