Cannot print
I lost all the printer info in the computer probably due to a crash. I tried
to re-install the printer driver but window gave me the following error message "the add printer wizard was unable to find any installed ports for your printer. Please restart Window and then try again" I restarted the computer but didn't help. Did I loose some system files? Can anyone help? Thanks |

Restart in Safe Mode, go into Device Manager, delete all printers and LPT
ports. Restart, allow Windows to reinstall the port(s), then reinstall printers. Assumes you are using LPT for this printer. If that's not the case, is the printer USB? Network? -- Gary S.
