Default Windows xp forum

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...gen_discussion
contains the finest brains of all the NG's. That is fact.

There's several brilliant people in
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...dowsxp.general though, I
think most of them come from, and inhabit
the win98 NG !!

I use XP but, when there's no response in
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...dowsxp.general I'm often
left with no choice but , to ask in
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...gen_discussion where
there is always an answer.

MASSIVE find of knowledge and goodwill in the win98 NG

regards, Richard grin

Go away, Richard.

Art, perhaps you didn't explain your issue well enough or it needs to be
directed elsewhere as in the manufacturer, etc. I can't see how posting to
a Win98 group would help. But then again, I know the talent of the MVP guys
still there. w

Leave Kelly where she is, please. She's on the XP A-Team and they need
her over there. Not saying I don't want her to visit--I love Kelly. But
we all have our chosen bailiwicks, and Kelly's is definitely Windows XP.
(Kelly, you want a puppy? These three are beginning to wear me out. Or,
maybe, you could just take Dan and give him some good training, eg?)

Like I said, they're wearing me out. Right after I wrote the previous, a
young boy brought his mother by to look at them. She'll take the female,
who has "phantom" markings and is by far the most cantankerous of the
three, but first I have to find two elderly ladies who normally walk by
here daily, but whom I haven't managed to see recently, not since last
fall. Both of them indicated they wanted a pup. Whether they were
serious or just engaging in wistful desires, I don't know. But I have to
make a serious effort to track them down, because they really have first
dibs. One, the "apricot", is staying--wife fell in love with him.

Hi Dan,

The only time you see me there is via a cross-post.

Am way too busy to add another group, thanks anyway! I run a computer
business from home, maintain my website, work the XP groups, reply to over
200 private e-mails per day (tech support) and tend to the needs of my
family of nine in-between.

Add that to having teen boys involved with Football, Summer Baseball, Winter
league Baseball, Basketball (Jr. High first string teams) with the younger
one's in gymnastics. Then the older one's here are in college and have
jobs. Wanna talk about laundry and groceries, much less finding time to
sleep??? )

Thank you, GAry, those are very kind words (XOXO). As for the puppy, sure
if it has four legs. As I really don't have the time to spare for any more
two legged ones, so will pass on Dan (nothing personal). )

Ah, so the puppies really exist! Poor Dan. w All in fun, all. But a
puppy would be welcomed here from GAry. ) All we have now are Oscars,
Jack Dempsey's and Cockatiels. Beings the boys can't clean up after
themselves (or forget to), much less another dog, we haven't replaced the
family black lab that we had to put to rest over a year ago. (
