Windows 98 SE recovery
I have a Dell Dimension 4100 PC with windows 98se
operating system. I have had the PC for just over three years. I have just had to reformat my hard drive, and on trying to reinstall windows 98se from the supplied recovery disc, I find I cannot as some files are missing from the disc. I have contacted Dell but they do not want to know. I have tried to contact Microsoft but my windows 98se ID has 29 digits/spaces and I can only enter 23 before the box stops me from entering any more. Can anyone assist in either how I can recover windows 98se or contact Microsoft for assistance???
