Well I just installed the demo version of 4.8 pro and then I adjusted
the date and time on my computer and the avast demo temporary license
was disabled because I changed the date and time, go figure...

you thought to extend the period by the old set-ahead/set-back fake...
or similar.

Use the home "free" version, the demo trial is just that, "a trial".

so are you saying that your time run out on the avast demo temporary license
mc always run the free version license as a demo for you cam all move up
to Pro avast

But I do not know if you can uninstall Pro and reinstall the free
So it look like you maybe the first to do,,, so tell us how it go's
and I would buy avast for they are good

For Norton make my wife cry sometime
and she see avast Home Edition Free Anitvirus out run Norton.. on win98
And on my XP have Avira AntiVir Personal - FREE Antivirus and her XP is the
one with Norton we same kind of CP
and Avira AntiVir Personal out work Norton too and why she cry because she
pay for Norton and miss a virus.....

No the actual date was off by 1 day so I adjusted it back 1 day. This

Well it seems to me if all the 98 users want to have a company
continue supplying a working software program then buy it. If enough
people are paying for it then maybe they will keep it going...
