Default I know someone can help..

While attempting to start up my computer I receive the following message:

Cannot find a device file that may be needed to run
Windows or a window application.

The Window registry or system .ini file refers to the
device file, but the device no longer exists.

If you deleted this file on purpose, try to uninstalling
the associated application using its uninstall or setup
program.

If you still want to use the application associated with
this device file, try reinstalling that application to
replace the missing file."

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\VSHINIT.VXD

It then tells me to press any key to continue. After about a minute, I am
redirected to my log in page. After logging in I get a blank page with no
icons, toolbars, nothing! All that's left to do is hit ctrl alt delete.
Please help!

Thank you
