lost notepad.exe

hi all,

lost my notepad.exe and a .dll for the notepad on W98.

can anybody help?

Get a copy of notepad.exe from your CD with SFC
Start-Run-SFC and extract one file.

You will have to supply the name of the .dll file for help, as there
is no notepad.dll issued with Win98.

Just for you're info,
the list of 'direct & indirect dependencies' is..

KERNEL32.DLL
ADVAPI32.DLL
GDI32.DLL
USER32.DLL
COMCTL32.DLL
SHLWAPI.DLL
SHELL32.DLL
COMDLG32.DLL

If you're missing DLL isn't one of those, it doesn't belong with
notepad.
