I have the windows 98 SE CD but I need the windows 98
boot CD. I am wanting to uninstall XP from my laptop
computer and replace it with windows 98 SE.because my XP
windows use too many of my resourses. Is it possible for
me to do this and where can I download the boot CD?

Before you do anything, you had better check to see if W98 drivers exist for
your laptop's hardware. You also should check with the laptop's maker to
see if W98 can even be installed on the laptop and whether or not doing so
voids the warranty.

You might be better served by explaining exactly what the problem is since
WinXP does not have a resource problem--Win98 does. There are plenty of
experts standing by in the WinXP newsgroups.
