Scandisk

Scandisk doesn't seem to work anymore. Just recently, I
was trying to run defrag and it told me I needed to run
thorough scandisk. Now, when I try to run scandisk, it
quits. When I run scandisk in DOS it just runs straight
thru & doesn't seem to really fix anything. So, just
tonite I saw on startup "cannot find file scandisk.exe"
although scandisk seems to run in DOS it isn't doing
anything. Can someone PLEASE tell me what I can or should

have you searched for scandisk.exe in windows

should be located in c:\windows\command

if it's not on your system you maybe able to copy a version of someone elses
98 or re-intall 98
