Default Wtoolsa Error Message

Hi All,

This morning I had a power black out in my area and
obviously my computer was abruptly shut down.
Since I restarted my machine, I'm having the following
message that keeps poping up on my screen :

Wtoolsa
This program has performed an illegal operation and will
be shut down.

In details, I have this :

WTOOLSA caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff7671f.

What should I do to stop this nagging message?

Thanks for a reply.

Download, unzip, and run Hijack This from one of these locations:
http://computercops.biz/downloads-cat-14.html
http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads31.html
http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads...HijackThis.exe
Unzip to a folder other than your Desktop or the Temp folder, doubleclick
HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Press that, save the log somewhere you can find it (Desktop, My Documents, or
similar).
Most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.

Copy the log files and paste them into a new post at one of these forums:

Thank you very much Glen for your advice.

I've downloaded the Highjackthis. But, I'm unable to post
the saved log on the places you indicated.
For some reason, I've not been able to register,
therefore, couldn't post my log.
Should I send it to you?

Cordially,
Jean-Pierre

No, don't send it to me. You can post it here if you want, but you =
probably won't get much help on it in this forum.

Try this forum list instead:
http://forum.aumha.org/index.php

Or go he
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/index.php?showforum=3D30
and set up a new account. What happens when you try to register the =
account?

Default Wtoolsa Error Message

This is the exact same error message that I received yesterday. I fixed it, by
running the msconfig.exe program from the RUN program, and disabling the
WinToolsA problem from the startup items tab.
