Default Problem with Mixer ( C-Media Mixer

When starting computer the mixer ( C-Media Mixer) does not
start every time, what causes freezing of programs after
some time and computer has to be restarted or reset, since
restart is not always possible. Any idea how to resolve
this problem.
Thank you,
Mickey

Have you tried removing and reinstalling the C-Media audio drivers, or downloading
and updating new ones from the manufacturer's web site?
