Default unhiding files on windows 98

hi friends,

i have a windows 98 o.s, and on my hard disk there are 2 partitions..
c:\ and d:\ , on the drive d:\ i hide some folders, but now i am not
able to unhide these files...


at the view menu , there is no folder option menu and so i am not able
to unhide these files......

can i unhide the files using ms-dos or any other way.....?

any one please help me ......

At a DOS prompt and logged to the correct folder
ATTRIB /? ; displays options for this DOS tool
; I think it is -H to unhide Hidden files
DIR /? ; similarly displays options for DIRectory
; you may be able to list all Hidden files
ATTRIB -h *.* ; or something similar, should unHide them.

There is no need to multi-post the same message to more than one Win98
newsgroup.

I have three ways (at least) of getting the View menu in Win98.
It may be:
Windows Explorer-View-Folder Options-View
Windows Explorer-Tools-Folder Options-View
Start-Settings-Folder Options-View
