You have to use DOS utilities for this (like
DOS UNDELETE) to alter the FAT to restore
the file (if it has not been overwritten by something
else.)

1. Unplug that computer. Do not even shut down. Every moment that machine is
running is another chance that some other file will overwrite the cluster(s)
where the deleted file resides.

2. Find a different machine to use, come back here for further advice.

Hi Francois,

Shut down your machine then use another machine if possible so you
don't overwrite the files and then download Restoration. If the
files are overwritten they will be practically impossible to
restore. Put the small download on a floppy d-click it and then run
Restoration.exe on your machine. Suggest you copy the recovered
files to the floppy if they will fit. Run it from the floppy
immediately after booting to Windows. If another machine is handy
leave yours on and close anything that may access the disk.
