Default 200GB hard drive is read as 131GB

in the bios it says 200GB, but when installing the operating system..it only
show an unpartitioned space of 131GB. can anyone suggest why it would do
this? it is set up as primary slave rite now.

Most likely the BIOS in your computer does not support hard drives that
large. What size does the BIOS setup screen report?

You're running Windows ME (or at least you've posted in the WindowsME NG and
you can only format the drive in FAT32. To see a single partition of 200gb
you will have to upgrade to WindowsXP and use NTFS.

Alternatively format the drive into two or more partitions.
