Internet Connection, Illegal Operation Message
When trying to connect my W98 computer to my Talktalk broadband internet
service with a Speedtouch 330 modem, I get the following message:- "This programme has performed an illegal operation and will shut down. If the problem persists, contact the programme vendor" Then under details "Explorer caused an exception c06d007eH in module SENS.DLL at 016f:6010857f" followed by a long list of registers. If I click the corner cross in the message box, it disappears and the connection is made. Why am I getting the message and how can I stop it please? Also, the connection is irratic. Sometimes it will not connect and others it will close after a while. I get no problem on my WXP computer. |
