Microsoft Newsgroups
Currently, I'm using the usenet server that my ISP supplies, but I would
rather use the Microsoft usenet server because there are many more postings. This is due to the fact that the Microsoft usenet server have much more retention than my ISP. There is a page somewhere at microsoft.com that all I have to do is click on a URL and it will set up Outlook Express so I have access to all of the newsgroups that the microsoft usenet server maintains. Thanks, Ken McDonald |

Microsoft Newsgroups
No but it isn't that hard to set up. Open OE, click on tools, accounts,
click Add, News and follow the on screen prompts. Do not list a valid email address and you will avoid massive amounts of spam and virus. The server name is msnews.microsoft.com -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP for W98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo "Ken McDonald" wrote in message ...
