Default Question about viewing newsgroups using Outlook

Hi

I hope this is the correct place for this question.

I have just started using Outlook to download newsgroup replies. I find the
only way to find the correct newsgroup to post a message, is firstly find
the group via IE, then setup using Outlook. Via IE, you can go to the 'top
of the tree' of newsgroups and select the correct place to post your message
eg.
http://support.microsoft.com/newsgro...=microsoft.pub
lic.windowsme.software&SLCID=US&ICP=GSS3&sd=GN&id= fh;EN-GB;newsgwinme. Is
there anyway this can be setup in Outlook, so that I can scroll through and
make the right choice? I noticed that you can right click the group then
select Newsgroup, but it's alot more confusing and difficult compared to IE.

I look forward to hearing back.

Thank you.

Click on the 'msnews.microsoft.com' folder (in the LH pane) and you will see
your current 'selection' of newsgroups in the RH pane. To add more, click
'Newsgroups...' button then select and 'subscribe' to any/all you want. -
there's plenty there g

PS.. Not too sure if I understood your question properly but this note *may*
help clarify things:-

Set up a Mail account in OE for "msnews.microsoft.com" and then select
whatever NG' you want e.g. this one is 'microsoft.public.windowsme.general'.
