problem with outlook express

I have been having a problem with my e mail. Whenever I
get an email with an attachment OE removes the attachment
and I can't get the email . I get nothing but a blank
page. Please let me know what I can do about this because
it is very upsetting. I know that some of these emails
are safe because there were photos sent fro m people I
know and other items that i know are safe. Please reply
as soon as possible so i can get my emails. thank you,
